Richard Batchelor of Aldershot Farnham & District finished first in the 2005 race in 33 minutes 38 seconds, closely pursued by Simon Coombes of Herne Hill Harriers in 33 minutes 43 seconds. Ben Paviour of Serpentine Running Club finished third in 33 minutes 56 seconds.
Becky McNicholas of Herne Hill Harriers strolled to victory in the women's race, finishing in 38 minutes 44 seconds. Rachel Moore finished second in 40 minutes 33 seconds and Crystal Palace Triathlete Kate Reed finished third with a time of 42 minutes 12 seconds.
Herne Hill Harriers triumphed in both of the team races.
